Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in car crash in Kyiv and probe into accident launched, spokesman says
A spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that he had been in a traffic accident.
Sergei Nikiforov said in a short statement that a passenger car collided with the presidential car and his escort in the capital, Kyiv.
"The president was examined by a doctor and no serious injuries were found," he said.
The driver of the vehicle that collided with the convoy was treated at the scene and taken into an ambulance.
Nikiforov said that law enforcement officers are investigating all the circumstances of the traffic accident. He gave no further details.
