Victoria’s Secret model ‘asked for pictures and sent inappropriate messages’ by pervert teacher at all-girl’s school
The Victoria's Secret model revealed that a former music teacher asked her for pictures and sent her inappropriate messages.
Bridget Malcolm spoke up after Bobby Gallo, the former head of music at the girls' school she attended, was banned from teaching because of his behaviour.
She said in a video that it became "common knowledge" that Gallo had lost his license for "gross misconduct against a student while he was teaching them."
"I'm that student," the Australian model said in an Instagram post.
“I went back and forth about waiving my right to anonymity or not because I was a minor when all of this happened.
"I'm still in shock, I'm still treating it and I definitely had a lot of feelings today.
“I just want to tell my fellow survivors out there that you are not alone, you are stronger than you may know and your future awaits.”
Malcolm was a Victoria's Secret model between 2015 and 2016 but last year spoke about the stress she felt because of her weight, which she said had left her "malnourished".
A court document revealed that the Western Australia Teachers Registration Board received an email from her in March 2021, the Brisbane Times reports.
She detailed the grooming behavior of the 53-year-old teacher during his time at Methodist College for Women in Perth, Western Australia.
Between 2007 and 2008 he sent personal emails,
Phone calls and texts to Malcolm but she couldn't escape him after she graduated.
